About NEKAS

NEKAS is a free service specifically designed for education practitioners in Hong Kong. It performs regular search on the electronic databases for significant and pertinent education articles, news and reports published in recent months. The information is then categorized and disseminated to registered members via email. NEKAS aims to provide educators with the latest research information in a user-friendly format so as to support their self-learning and professional development. NEKAS has established 34 education interest groupings. Users may register with any number of groupings according to their needs and interests.

NEKAS is a joint effort of CIRD, Library, ITS and SU, with the support of APCELSQ.

關於「教育新知識服務」（NEKAS）

教育新知識服務（NEKAS）由田家炳基金會贊助，是一項為全港教育工作者而設的免費專業服務。我們會從龐大的資料庫中搜尋最新出版的期刊文章，加以系統分類，定期傳送至會員的電子郵箱，會員透過互聯網即能開啟閱讀，獲得最新發表的教育研究成果，以促進自我學習與專業發展。

教育新知識服務由香港教育學院研究與發展中心、圖書館、資訊科技處及學生會共同開發，並得到亞太教育領導及學校質素中心的支持。

津貼中學議會及津貼小學議會為本計劃的合作夥伴，協助推廣此服務。
